The Heart Behind the Work
Seeds 2 Succeed was born from a simple belief: when people discover their purpose, everything changes. JoEl C. Watson founded this ministry after decades of working with youth, professionals, and faith leaders who were searching for direction, confidence, and calling.

Through years of service in both corporate and ministry settings, JoEl saw the same truth repeated — leadership begins with serving. Seeds 2 Succeed exists to help individuals build on that foundation, combining biblical principles with practical leadership strategies that inspire growth in every area of life.
Meet JoEl C. Watson
JoEl C. Watson is a servant leader, mentor, and speaker with more than three decades of experience in personal and professional development. He currently serves as an IT Helpdesk Manager for the City of Lansing and Detention Officer at the Ingham County Youth Center, where his commitment to people and purpose meets daily life.
He holds an Associate Degree in Sociology from Lansing Community College, and certifications through the John Maxwell Leadership Program, Dr. Eric Thomas’ Extreme Execution Coaching, and the Sam Chand Leadership Institute.
An ordained minister and Certified Christian Counselor, JoEl serves within the Churches of God in Christ (COGIC) as Campus Ministry and Young Adult Director, Chief Adjutant for the Southwest Michigan Third Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction, and National Adjutant.
His ministry extends beyond church walls — he has led chapel services for youth, mentored those in transition, and provided spiritual support as Chaplain for the Eaton County Jail.
JoEl has been married to his wife, Marcia, for over 40 years. Together they’ve built a legacy rooted in faith, family, and service.

Where We’re Growing
Seeds 2 Succeed continues to expand through leadership conferences, workshops, and coaching sessions that reach men, women, and youth across communities and organizations. From the Unlocking the Code Men’s Conference to The Art of Servanthood Workshop and Business Leadership Intensives, each event is designed to inspire transformation that lasts far beyond the room.
